mckenzie kids diaper bags For Your Reading Pleasure
Do you know the 6 things to look for when buying a kids magic kit online?
You want to get the best magic kit for your kids. I don't want your kids to be disappointed by an inferior or inappropriate magic kit.
Here are six things to look for when shopping for a kids magic kit.
1. Specific suggested age range: Every kid should have an age group that it was created for. For example a lot of magic kits are sold for "ages 4 to 104". Well, what that means is that half of the tricks are appropriate for kids and half are good for adults. The problem with this is that most kids will get frustrated because 50% of the trick are too hard for them to learn. Kids want to learn all of the tricks in the magic kit...not just half.
2. Instructions that are fun: You want to have the instructions for your kids magic kit to be fun and exciting. For example, you don't want a magic kit with just printed instructions that have no illustrations.
Studies have show that over 61% of kids learn best visually, so getting a kids magic kit with DVD instructions is ideal.
3. Item should ship out within 24 hours: If a website doesn't have a product in stock, it shouldn't be listed on their website. You don't want to wait 2 weeks for them to get the item instock, you want your kids magic kit promptly! A surefire way to tell if a site has an item in stock is that their shopping cart checkout page will have their realtime stock listed of each item they carry.
4. Lots of Testimonials: Every site should have testimonials or reviews from actual parents about their kids reactions to the magic kits. An endorsement from someone like David Copperfield is impressive...but he doesn't have kids and isn't necessarily a good judge of what kids nowadays think is cool, but other parent know what kids like!
5. Secure check out: When you begin the checkout part of your order, make sure the page is secure so that your information can't be stolen. Most online shopping carts only operate in secure mode during the part of checkout when you enter your personal information, and that's fine.
Here are two ways you can tell if you are submitting your information at a secure site:
#1 look at the address bar in your internet browsers window it should begin like this https:// The "s" in the https means secure.
#2 a closed (locked) padlock will appear at the bottom of your browsers window.
6. Customer service phone line: Every site should have a phone number you can call to ask any questions you might have about their kids magic kits or to place your order over the phone. Having a phone number to call is basic customer service, and I would be skeptical of any site that doesn't want you to call.
Now that you know the six things to look for, I'm confidant that you will find a kids magic kit that is fun, and age appropriate for you children.

Customer Review: Bedtime relief!
We played this CD for the first time tonight as my 5-year-old was going to bed. Five-star results! Lately bedtime has been a zoo with her repeatedly getting out of bed and/or asking to be sat with until she falls asleep. Tonight I stayed with her for a couple of stories (the first one is a bit hokey), but then she stayed in bed and fell asleep before the CD was over. I am one relieved and hopeful mom.

Customer Review: Great Little Lace-Up Shoe
This is a great little lace-up shoe that has an insole foot measuring guide (removeable) to get the right fit. At this price there is no need to purchase a bigger size to "grow into." I purchased extra pairs to keep at school & day care. Lots of colors to choose from, quick shipping (I ordered standard delivery & got it in 2 days!), and reasonable price. I'll order more as my son's feet grow.
Joe Dirt (Dol)
Joe Dirt (Dol)
Another of those cut-and-paste comedies from Adam Sandler's production company starring one of Sandler's erstwhile Saturday Night Live colleagues, The Adventures of Joe Dirt finds the magnificently caustic David Spade emasculated by a sentimental script and shapeless, haphazard cutting. Spade plays the title character, a white-trash orphan in search of the parents who abandoned him at the Grand Canyon. The humor is supposed to come from Joe's misadventures, his redneck gullibility, and his encounters with such figures as a serial killer, a wacked-out janitor (Christopher Walken), and a lovable gal (Jamie Pressly) who may, unfortunately, turn out to be his sister. But the squishier requirements of the story, requiring the audience to feel deeply for the pain of Spade's caricature, are an irritant and force Spade to veer from the nastier stuff he does so well. With Kid Rock, Dennis Miller. --Tom Keogh
Customer Review: David Spade + Mullet = Funny
Joe Dirt is the gut-bustingly funny tale of a character by the same name, payed by David Spade. He's a complete loser working as a janitor when he gets spotted and highlighted by a radio host (Dennis Miller) named Xander Kelly. The show gives us the privilege of hearing about Joe's life, and the hilarity ensues.
First and foremost, Joe is pathetic looking. He has a surgically attached mullet, porkchop sideburns, and facial hair that looks like the results of bad inbreeding. What's more, he is absolutely clueless about how stupid he looks. He's so worthless, in fact, that his parents abandoned him at the Grand Canyon, and it's this abandonment that begins his amazing journey.
Soon enough, we come to see Joe Dirt as not so pathetic, and we begin to empathize with him. He's just an honest guy, looking for his family and love, but just happens to look horrible.
There are far too many hilarious scenes to mention, but a few noteworthy ones are when he meets an Indian named Kicking Wing who owns a fireworks stand in the desert. In a matter of no time, the two are shooting fireworks into fuel, and causing massive explosions. The next thing you know, Joe Dirt is getting septic tanks dumped on his head, dog's ballls are getting frozen to winter porches, and beatdowns occur at oil derricks. All the while Joe is completely oblivious, spouting off lines like, "Life's a garden; dig it".
If you like to laugh out loud, then this is the movie for you. It's highly recommended. The entire movie provides laughs, and there are great cameos by several stars, namely Christopher Walken, who are intertwined in ingenious scenarios, one more outrageous than the previous. David Spade absolutely nails the Joe Dirt persona, and doesn't allow for a single dull second.
The NeverEnding Story
The NeverEnding Story
Wolfgang Petersen (In the Line of Fire) made his first English-language film with this 1984 fantasy about a boy (Barret Oliver) visualizing the stories of a book he's reading. The imagined tale involves another boy, a warrior (Noah Hathaway), and his efforts to save the empire of Fantasia from a nemesis called the Nothing. Whether or not the scenario sticks in the memory, what does linger are the unique effects, which are not quite like anything else. Plenty of good fairy-tale characters and memorable scenes, and the film even encourages kids to read. --Tom Keogh
Customer Review: A Fascinating, Unforgettable 80's Fantasy!
Bastian is a young boy of higher than average intelligence and imagination struggling to deal with bullies and the recent death of his mother. The hardships that have befallen his life, along with the hard instruction of an out-of-touch father, have taken their toll on Bastian's ability to fantasize and dream, convincing him that he must grow up and keep his feet on the ground. Luckily for him, while taking refuge in an old bookshop one day on his way to school, Bastian is introduced to "The NeverEnding Story". This mysterious book takes his imagination on a daring quest with a young warrior named Atreyu to save a child-like empress and the entire land of Fantasia from the mysterious and terrible Nothing that is sweeping across the land and destroying everything it touches.
If any movies from the now much celebrated 1980's can truly be called classics, "The NeverEnding Story" is without a doubt one of the most worthy. It was a time when fantasy films for young people were insanely popular, all with dazzling pre-CGI effects and eerie, otherworldly music, and this film is the finest example. Based on a famous German book (it's said that the author was not pleased with the film version), "The NeverEnding Story" is an exciting and magical tale about the restoration of a boy's imagination against great odds. The land and creatures of Fantasia, while sometimes rather ugly, are brilliantly brought to life, the cast is excellent, and every young boy growing up in the '80's was totally in love with beautiful Tami Stronach as the empress (now a lovely and accomplished dancer). We all also wanted a luck dragon of our own!
The Warner Bros. DVD release could use an update, as all the extras are in the form of text information (little tidbits about the characters and effects), but at least the film is presented in widescreen (on the flip side) and a trailer is included as well. There were two sequels made to "The NeverEnding Story", plus a cartoon series and something called "Tales from the NeverEnding Story," which I believe was a live-action TV series. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of that stuff, so I can't recommend or discourage seeking it out. However, you can't go wrong with the enchanting original!

Customer Review: Great Delivery, Good Product
The process of ordering it was quick and simple. The product itself isn't so bad. A quick instant snack that requires no prior refrigeration (very impt living in a dorm with tiny fridge). Not the healthiest thing but it actually has as many calories as a small bag of chips but more filling.
Minus 1 star because I like the ravioli better.
