Top 7 Items To Pack For Car Trips With Kids
When packing for a car trip with kids, there are some definite items you need to include so that everyone has a safe, clean, happy journey.
1. Pillows ? Never underestimate the value of a pillow for each child. Pillows not only comfort the little bobbing heads of weary travellers, but they act as totally useful buffer zones when cranky moods overcome the back seat. They?re also good to use as ?laptop raisers?. Activities such as colouring in, puzzles and craft are a little higher and easier to manage on a child?s lap. Use a waterproof pillow protector under the slip to catch any spills or for when marking pens go a little outside the lines!
2. A water bottle with sipper top ? Yes, water is the ultimate in refreshing, healthy drinks. However there?s another use for a water bottle, particularly one with a sipper top. Any time you need to ?spot clean? something, water is usually the best solution, and the spill-proof top avoids any splish-splosh inside the car.
3. Baby wipes ? Sticky hands and car upholstery are not good friends. A pack of baby wipes is invaluable. Keep them in the glove box within handy reach. They?re good for hands, faces, gooey mouths, nappy changes, and to clean up any splodges you may not have thought of!
4. Plastic bags ? They?re everywhere and yet you can never find one when you need one. Pack a few under the seat of the car or in the door compartment. So useful for collecting rubbish, containing damp or wet items, and even for catching those meals that sometimes revisit on car trips!
5. Face washer ? Damp, they?re fantastic for slightly larger cleaning tasks and for cooling hot faces down on long, warm weather car journeys. Dry, they make excellent windscreen de-foggers in rainy conditions when you can?t leave the windows open.
6. Mobile phone charger ? No use packing the desktop one in the suitcase and letting the mobile phone battery die inside the car. Just in case you need to call the RACQ, NRMA, RACV or similar body, you?ll really wish your phone was all charged up. Be sure to take with you, the charger that plugs into your car?s cigarette lighter.
7. Kid-friendly music ? When the last thing you want to do is personally entertain the kids, a good selection of music they love will be a huge asset. Looking behind to sing nursery rhymes is likely to bring on carsickness. Trying to come up with ample material to keep them happy will drive you nuts. Put on a CD they?re familiar with and you can tune out to it and read in peace while the driver focuses on the road.
Happy family holidays!

Customer Review: Cottenelle for kids
I thought these were double rolls for that price, they are not. Also, they may say two ply but they are the thinest two ply I have ever gotten, more like a single ply. Cute graphics on them though and very soft.

Customer Review: Great Gate!
This gate is perfect for the wide hallways and stairway in our home as well as for our sweetly precocious daughter who needs "reminding" of where she should and shouldn't be prowling. My husband assembled the gate with no problems and we both find it to be easily maneuverable and fairly solid once locked into place. It should not, however, be viewed as a barricade for ambitious tiny travelers (who tend to climb or ram impediments). The only thing that could be improved upon is the fact that the door of the gate can be finicky - at times I have to finesse it into its locking position, which is a pain. Otherwise, we really like this gate and will probably end up buying a second one in the future.

Jim Cramer's Stay Mad for Life: Get Rich, Stay Rich (Make Your Kids Even Richer)
Jim Cramer, bestselling author and host of CNBC's Mad Money, has written the ultimate guide to lifetime investing for readers of any age.
Whether you're a recent college grad trying to figure out how to start investing, a young parent struggling to decide where and how to put away money, or someone well into middle age and worried about whether you've saved enough for retirement, Jim Cramer's Stay Mad for Life has the answers. Cramer covers all the essentials: how to save, where to invest, which pitfalls to avoid. He offers valuable advice on everything from mortgages to college tuition. He explains what professional money managers do right that amateur investors do wrong. Because there is always a bull market somewhere, Cramer tells readers where to find the bull markets of the future, and for those willing to do the homework, he chooses twenty stocks that could be long-term moneymakers. For those who don't have the time or the temperament to invest in stocks, he identifies the mutual funds that are proven winners. He's investigated these funds by using his own twenty-five years' experience managing money for himself and dozens of America's wealthiest families. Throughout, in addition to his own enormously successful experience, Cramer draws on rigorous research to back up his advice.
Jim Cramer is America's #1 financial guru. Every day he advises investors on how to get ahead of the markets and stay ahead on his daily television show, Mad Money; in his online columns and commentary at TheStreet.com; in his popular "Bottom Line" column in New York magazine, and on television programs from early morning to late night. His books have all been national bestsellers and have helped educate hundreds of thousands of investors about the perils and promises of the financial markets. USA Today called him "the media's most electrifying market pundit"; and his legions of fans agree. Jim Cramer's Stay Mad for Life is the definitive money book, a practical, concrete, insightful book of invaluable financial advice that is a joy to read.
Customer Review: Necessary Reading for New Young Couples
